Our site is a former timber yard that has been left unused for over 30 years. Our scheme will deliver 13 stunning new three bedroom detached homes that have been designed to compliment the architecture of the villages conservation area.
The Former Timber Yard site is 29,408 m2 out of which the development area is a total of 11,266 m2. It is located near the waterfront, wedged into the residential area of Heybridge Basin, Maldon. The site is currently characterized by vacant industrial buildings and open areas. To the North and East, the site is encompassed by the village of Heybridge Basin. The East side is a designated conservation area containing a historic quayside, waterfront buildings, and traditional dwellings contributing to its distinctive character as a maritime settlement. The other significant feature of the site is its proximity to the Chelmer and Blackwater Canal to the South.
